Some grand claims have been made for the newly publicised fossil named Ida. Even some Evolutionists are surprised how flashy the propaganda machine for this one is. Note how the mainstream media as usual effortlessly presents spculation as fact; the BBC, for example, states that 'The beautifully preserved remains of a 47-million-year-old, lemur-like creature have been unveiled in the US.' But such a date is Evolutionist speculation, not established fact.
